TV hardman Ray Winstone has finally joined the world of Instagram – and his first video is everything you’d expect and more.
The 63-year-old King of Thieves star has already garnered more than 10,000 followers since posting the clip on Wednesday, September 2.
In the clip, Ray dons a pair of black sunglasses and sits in front of a portrait of himself.
He says: “How are you doing? I’m Ray Winstone. This is my Instagram page, or I think that’s what it’s called.
“All you mob pretending to be me in the past, you can jog on now. I mean, you don’t mean no harm, thank you very much.
“Except for the geezer who asked for Bitcoin which I thought was a bit of a f***ing liberty.”

Having sent his warning to imitators, the Londoner goes on to say what fans can expect from his channel.
“If you fancy having a rabbit about sport, football, boxing – I love me a bit of boxing,” he continues.
“Even cricket, horse racing. Whatever you want to have a chat about – I’m here.
“If you want to talk about films, I don’t mind doing that either.”
His video went down a hit with fans, being seen more than 14,000 times.
One viewer wrote: “Best thing to happen on Instagram ever.”

“The Don has arrived,” another said while a third added: “This makes me happy.”
And a fourth fan gushed: “Ahh now this is gonna be my kind of page. Welcome Ray.”
At the time of writing, Ray has only made two posts on his channel, the second also being a video.
In it, he explains how he has been stuck in the Italian island of Sicily for seven months, after being caught out there when the country was placed under lockdown at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
“I came over to do a little film and do some maintenance on the place,” he added.
“I lost a lot of weight and then I put the weight back on.”
