Robbie Williams debuts hair transformation as he talks getting 'old'

Robbie Williams has debuted a brand new look after admitting that he’s “too old” to keep dying his hair.

The Rock DJ hitmaker, 46, debuted his new short grey-haired look in Australia ahead of a performance at the World Tour Melbourne, his only concert while in the country.

The gig will take place at Albert Park’s Lakeside Stadium on Saturday, and coincides with the Australian Grand Prix.

The Take That star and former X Factor judge was seen laughing and joking with fans as he chatted with them in the Aussie sunshine.

Speaking about his new image, Robbie said: “There’s a certain age that you reach where you go, ‘I better stop dying this stuff’.

“You don’t want to have that auburn red tip at the end. You see the rock stars of yesterday do this and you go, ‘Oooh’.”

He continued telling The Sun: “So what I’ve done is shave it all off.”

Robbie greeted his fans in Oz with elbow bumps as the coronavirus outbreak intensifies.

The Angels singer took no chances with his health, opting to bump elbows with excitable fans instead of offering a hug or handshake.

It wasn’t just his fans that Robbie kept a safe distance from, as he also elbowed F1 favourite Daniel Ricciardo.

Robbie’s decision to elbow bump comes after legendary actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson tested positive for coronavirus while in Oz.

Unfortunately for the former Take That star, the World Health Organisation has suggested that this greeting method is still too close amid the outbreak.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian doctor revealed that it might not be the most sanitary thing to do as the nation is being instructed to cough into our elbows.
