Pop superstar Sia has spoken candidly about her life as a mum-of-two after adopting her sons.
The singer, whose real name is Sia Kate Furler, became a mum in 2019 after adopting two boys who were “ageing out of the foster care system”.
Speaking openly about her life as a mum, she revealed that she required a “great support system” due to being a single parent.
Sia, 44, who has vowed to remain single for the rest of her life, also said that she now knows “what it means to unconditionally love another person”.

During an interview with InStyle, the Elastic Heart songstress revealed that she tracked her son down after hearing his story.
She said: “When I saw him, I said to myself, ‘That’s my son’
“I knew I wanted to help him. By the time I found him, he was 18 and ageing out of the foster care system. I told him that I wanted to adopt him, and since he was an adult, he left with me that day.”

The Grammy-nominated star went on to say that the only requirement her son had, was that his cousin also left with him.
After initially not disclosing her son’s identity, the Aussie icon said that Che also lived in the care home and that she had two spare bedrooms at home, so instantly agreed.

“I’d never met Che before, he also moved in with me that evening. Later I found out that they weren’t really cousins, just friends,” she said.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music podcast in July this year, the songstress revealed she had also become a grandmother after her youngest son had welcomed two babies.
“I’m a f**king grandma,” she exclaimed before revealing that she doesn’t go by that title.
“I’m trying to get them to call me ‘Lovey’,” she added.
Both of her sons, who are black, have lived in 18 different locations throughout their life after being “failed” by the social care system.
