Strictly star Stacey Dooley eyeing EastEnders role as Queen vic landlady

Stacey Dooley has issued a “come and get me” plea to EastEnders chiefs.

The 2018 Strictly Come Dancing winner said she is up for a role in the soap after presenting her Secrets From The Square show.

And Stacey, 33, reckons she could be the new boss of the Queen Vic.

She said: “I’d want to be the landlady – straight in.

“I’d want to be in charge of the Vic.

“I’d be a nightmare. I’d really let it go to my head. Yeah, I’d be really playing up, throwing everybody out.

“No-one would be safe.”

Stacey got pally with show legends such as Letitia Dean, who plays Sharon, when she filmed her recent insider series on the soap – and she was told she was a dead ringer for a former star of the show.

She added: “It’s funny, when I met a couple of the girls they were saying, ‘Oh God, you really remind me of Patsy Palmer’. They said, ‘You’re so like her’.”

Earlier this week Former Strictly professional Ian Waite risked a fallout with judge Bruno Tonioli after spouting that he had “entertainment value but nothing else”.

The Latin American specialist couldn’t resist sticking the claws in during an honest discussion with TOWIE’s Bobby Norris on Access All Areas  FUBAR Radio.

Ian, 49, landed the brutal comment after he had been quizzed about the behind-the-scenes gossip on the show.

As it is believed Bruno will not make an appearance on the next series, Bobby was eager to find out what the judge was really like behind closed doors – but seemed surprised by Ian’s honesty
