Susan Boyle sends BGT fans wild with weight loss transformation in audition dress

Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle wowed her followers as she showed off just how weight she has lost as she donned her audition dress from the show in 2009.

Susan, 58, had worn a patterned gold dress with material around the waist, and a hemline which went down past her knees as she auditioned for the ITV shows.

Fans will remember that she wowed the judges and the crowd with her remarkable voice as she performed I Dreamed a Dream for Les Miserables.

On social media, Susan put on her famous dress as she posed backstage at the SEC Armadillo as she performed the song for the crowd.

The picture was captioned: “Deja Vu? 11 years after her BGT audition, Susan returned to the SEC Armadillo stage and donned the very dress she wore for that audition!

“Back for one night only, Susan surprised the audience with a quick change before her signature song, I Dreamed A Dream & of course it came with the Susan wiggle!”

Fans rushed to comment on Susan’s major weight loss, as one fan commented: “Susan you’ve lost so much weight!! Wonderful!”

Another added: “Looking lovely.”

A third chipped in: “Looking beautiful Susan.”

A fourth wrote: “Thought that dress looked familiar!”

Susan lost two stone back in 2016 after she was diagnosed with type two diabetes, with doctors telling her this could prevent her from singing live again.

She told the Mirror that she dropped the weight by ditching sweet things from her diet, saying: “I needed to stop eating sweeties and cakes. It’s the bane of my life.”

The singer also spoke to Lorraine about her lifestyle change last summer, saying: “I’m feeling a lot better now. I had moments where I needed help, and I reached out and I got the help I needed.”

BGT’s next series returns in April on ITV.
