The Chase fans slammed a contestant on Twitter after he made a seriously controversial choice on the show.
Viewers of the ITV programme never fail to slate a player for choosing a low offer, which is exactly what Matt decided to do during this evening’s repeat episode.
With a potential £49,000 up for grabs, the London-based nurse took the minus offer, removing £2000 from the total and leaving his team with £9,000.
Fans certainly didn’t let Matt get away with it, and flooded Twitter with comments.
One said: “There is no greater sin than those who take the minus offer on The Chase.”
While another wrote: “I’ll never understand why people take the low offer on #TheChase.”

A third penned: “Sorry Matt, for taking the minus offer I hope you fail.”
Matt, Sarah and Ailsa all made it through to the final chase after poor Kelly was caught by chaser Anne Hegerty.
They were an incredible team, bagging themselves 20 steps ahead of Anne after answering a vast array of questions correctly.
Anne was on top quizzing form when she attempted to catch up with the three players in her tense final round.

Incredibly, the team managed to beat Anne with just question remaining.
They had four opportunities to push back, and succeeded in all of them.
Viewers were thrilled for the trio, and rushed to leave comments of congratulations on social media.
One said: “Well done, and so well deserved, fabulous general knowledge guys.
While another wrote: “Well done team.”
“Well done you lucky lucky b*****ds,” penned a third.
Matt contributed towards the team’s win, despite him taking the minus offer.
Some fans acknowledged this after he was slammed for his choice.

A fan wrote: “Matt’s point counted. Low offer maybe the right call today. Still don’t like minus though!”
And another remarked: “That’s why it pays you to sometimes take the low offer.”
“Excellent!! Really pleased they won!! I will forgive Matt ever so slightly!”, tweeted another viewer.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
