During Friday’s episode of The Chase, viewers at home were left seriously impressed by the players – Vicky, Michael, Duncan and Jane.
The episode’s contestants managed to rack up thousands in their cash builder rounds and fans were predicting a win against Paul “The Sinnerman” Sinha.
However things took a turn for the worse for player three Duncan, who was about to add £6,000 to the pot, which already had £15,000 in it.
The communications adviser took the middle offer, however a few wrong answers meant he crashed out of the competition – despite fans calling them the “best team”.
One said: “Paul’s in trouble. This team are exceptional.”

Another tweeted: “This is the best team I’ve seen in a while.”
A third wrote: “They’ll win the dosh here tonight.”
Someone else commented: “Looks like this team on The Chase are going to do bits.”
While a fifth added: “Ayy. This team is deadly so far.”
Player four, Jane, turned out to be even better than her team mates though, as she managed to rack up £9,000 in her cash builder round.

Sadly for Duncan, he might have some explaining to do to his wife Anna, who would have benefited from him winning some cash.
He told host Bradley Walsh: “I need to start upgrading my partner’s presents. We’ve been together two years.
“I started with a frying pan, tried to step it up last year but she really wants a puppy.”
However he explained she’d have to make do with a breed he liked, as he “can’t give her everything at once”.
If he had managed to get back to the team with his £6,000 he’d have been in with a chance at a share of £30,000.
Ahead of the Final Chase, The Sinnerman said: “They’re more than a super team – an astounding team.”
He added: “As a betting man, that is a good team.”
They managed to knock up 21 correct answers in total as they got ready to take on Paul in the Final Chase.
And it turned out that was more than enough for the three of them, as they also had six attempts at push-backs and managed to execute three of them.
They each took home £8,000, despite Duncan’s crashing out of the competition.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
