The Chase's Bradley Walsh fights back laughter in filthy innuendo TV fail

The Chase host Bradley Walsh was unable to contain his glee after making a cheeky innuendo during Tuesday’s show.

During the latest episode of the hit ITV quiz show, Bradley, 60, was chatting the contestants about what they would do with the money.

Before she took on chaser of the day The Vixen, Brad caught up with Gayle about how she would spent the cash.

After explaining she would love to treat herself to a fancy trumpet he kicked off the quick fire question round.

Halfway through the round and with the clock ticking, Bradley asked: “Mutton flaps are the off-cuts of what animal’s rib?”

The Chase fans found the comment hilarious

As the camera flipped to Gayle the hopefuls’s face began to crack as she tried not to break out in hysterics.

Smirking, Gayle did her best to suppress her humour, before replying: “Sheep”.

As she starting laughing the camera cut to the other contestants who were also chuckling away.

The innuendo didn’t go amiss with viewers online either who also laughed at the phrase.

The Chase fans were impressed Bradley held it together

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Mutton flaps… how many takes Brad?”

Another added: “Trying not to laugh at mutton flaps”.

Meanwhile, a third continued: “Haha at Brad laughing at flaps #TheChase”

A fourth chimed in: “Trying not to laugh at mutton flaps Rolling on the floor laughing.”

Despite getting all four of the contestants back home safe and sound for the final chase things didn’t go to plan.

Clearly on a roll, The Vixen was able to quickly catch the foursome with just under thirty seconds left on the clock.

Pleased with herself, The Vixen, whose real name is Jenny Ryan, said: “It’s not often that I take on a full house and win so I am pleased with my performance.”

The Chase continues weekdays on ITV at 5pm
