Young actor Logan Williams, who has appeared in The Flash and When Calls the heart, has died suddenly at the age of 16.
Logan’s tragic death was first reported by Canadian publication Tri-City News.
According to the publication, Logan died suddenly on Thursday but did not reveal the cause of death.
The star played a younger version of The Flash’s alter ego, Barry Allen, with the present time version was played by Grant Gustin.
Grant paid tribute to the 16-year-old, sharing a photo of them alongside their Flash co-star Jesse L Martin, who played Joe West.
He captioned the sweet photo: “Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly.

“This picture was early in the filming of The Flash pilot episode back in 2014.
“I was so impressed by not only Logan’s talent but his professionalism on set.”
Glee star Grant continued: “My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I’m sure an unimaginably difficult time for them.
“Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all.
“Sending love to everyone.”

The Flash casting director David Rapaport commented: “I remember showing you his audition tape in my office.
“We were both so excited about his talent and how much you two looked alike.
“I remember how stoked you were and you said you both had similar eyebrows.”
He finished with: “So so sad. RIP.”
Danielle Nicolet, who plays Cecile Horton on The Flash, added: “Heartbreaking. I’m keeping his family in my prayers. May he rest in peace.”

Meanwhile, Robbie Amell, who played Ronnie Raymond in the comic book series, said: “Damn. Sorry man.”
Erin Krakow, from When Calls The Heart, shared her own tribute, writing: “Heartbroken to learn of the passing of Logan Williams who played Miles Montgomery in several seasons of WCTH.
“Logan was a beautiful, warm, silly, and talented young man. He could always make us laugh. He was just shy of 17 and had what I’m sure would have been a very bright future ahead of him.
“I hope you’ll join me in sending virtual love and support to Logan’s family and friends during this very painful time.”
