This Morning viewers were delighted today as Alison Hammond returned to the studio as lockdown measures are softened.
People are now able to keep a social distance of one metre as opposed to two, meaning Big Brother icon Alison was able to reunite with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Phil and Holly gave Alison a legendary introduction.
Holly said: “We have invited the best entertainer we know.”
To which Phil cheekily added: “Beyonce wasn’t available, so here’s Alison Hammond.”
And the Brummie lass was certainly taking social distancing seriously as she entered the This Morning studio.
Alison, 45, rocked very elaborate headgear, which featured a long decorated stick to ensure people kept at a distance from her.
Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were in hysterics, as she bounded into the studio, rocking the unique fashion item.
Holly then said of her headwear: “This is hard because you give the best hugs.”
Holly then quizzed Alison about how she was doing following their time apart.
Alison responded: “Yes I have been really good guys got my hair done. I am back!”
Viewers at home were equally tickled by Alison’s return and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Taking to Twitter, one social networker said: “No changes, Alison Hammond is still an absolute legend.”
While another continued: “Aww I love Alison.”
A third added: “Alison Hammond bounding into the studio with a new weave and a social distancing piñata on her head has just given me life.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
