Tipping Point was back on our screens this afternoon as ITV aired the latest episode of the popular game show.
Host Ben Shephard welcomed four contestants to the famous ITV studio as they battled it out to win the highly sought after cash prizes.
Kevin, Molly, Matt and Marilyn answered a series of questions to win turns on an arcade-style machine.
Dropping tokens down a choice of four chutes, they each hoped to knock piles of the counters off a moving shelve – the more they collected, the greater the prize fund.
Fans were distracted from the game show by contestant Molly.
Viewers at home rushed to their keyboards to leave a flirty message for the hopeful.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Molly, if you can see this call me.”
Another added: “Good golly miss Moly.”
A third gushed: “Is it wrong to fancy Molly? I hope she makes it to the final.”
While a fourth said: “Molly is absolutely stunning.”
Things didn’t go quite to plan for Molly on the show as she made a huge error on a science question.
Host Ben, 45, quizzed Molly about the three states of matter during the second round of the quiz show.
The presenter asked: “At room temperature oxygen is in which of the three basic states of matter?”
Molly replied: “Air.”
ITV viewers took to Twitter to discuss Molly’s major blunder.
One fan penned: “Air is a state of matter?”
A second asked: “Air?”
While a third person joked: “Three states of matter, solid, liquid and air?”
A fourth fan said: “Molly’s head is full of air.”
“Molly really didn’t know that science question,” another Tipping Point viewer tweeted.
The three states of matter are in fact solid, liquid and gas.
Despite a solid first round, Molly was the second contestant to be sent home this afternoon.
Assistant brand manager Matt was first contestant to be sent pack after a tricky start to the show.
Marilyn and Kevin went head-to-head in the third round, and it was Marlyn who made it through to the fourth and final round of the quiz show.
Tipping Point airs weekdays on ITV at 4pm
