US rapper Bris was shot dead Sacramento County Coroner records confirm.
The Sacramento rapper, who was 24, was shot on on June 21.
According to Sacramento Police, officers responded to a report of shots fired on June 21 at around 12:42 a.m. near Franklin Boulevard and Fruitridge Road.
As they arrived at the scene, officers found the rapper, born Christopher Treadwell, who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at scene.
Bris had recently found success collaborating with G-Man on the 2019 mixtape 10:42.
He released songs including Panhandling, Sparked a Fuse, and Lightning McQueen.

He was arrested at the end of 2019 and was released earlier this year.
Soon after, he shared First 42 Hours Freestyle.
Last week, the rapper released a video for the new single Need Hammy.
Fans of the rapper said he was the next best thing in Sacramento behind Mozzy with his rise all over the state.

His death follows a heartbreaking trend in Hip Hop of death taking away up and coming MCs from Kiing Shooter, who passed away on May 5 to NYC’s Nick Blixky who was gunned down back on May 10.
Fans went online to mourn the rapper’s death, with one writing: “God damn… man RIP BRIS.”
Another added: “He was going crazy I’m disappointed they took a real one from us.”
A third said: “RIP Bris, I can’t believe I’m making this comment.”
While a fourth penned on one of the star’s YouTube videos: “Sacramento just lost a Legend, RIP little one.”
