Amanda Holden branded 'pure filth' as BBC bosses cut racy antics from new show

Amanda Holden is so saucy she had to be censored by the BBC.

During filming for her new show I Can See Your Voice many of her comments were so rude they had to be edited out.

Co-star Jimmy Carr was shocked by her potty mouth. He said: “Amanda Holden is a tiny, petite little thing and she looks very fancy, but she’s got the mouth of a trucker. She’s pure filth.

“We had to edit round her with this show.”

Show bosses had to cut out some of Amanda’s comments because the new series is airing before the 9pm watershed.

Jimmy admits he was on his best behaviour.

He said: “It’s a slightly different side of me. It’s a very friendly show. It’s very joyful.

“I was dancing around and having a great time.”

Beeb execs are hoping I Can See Your Voice will be a hit with families.

Jimmy said: “It feels like a bit of an antidote. It feels like it’s exactly what we need. It’s so family-friendly to watch. You want something you can watch together and there’s no edge.”

Meanwhile, Amanda’s co-star Alison Hammond has let slip that the Britain’s Got Talent beauty kept getting told off by producers for keeping her legs open during filming.

She told Notebook Magazine: “She kept getting in trouble for opening her legs. They had to keep saying ‘Amanda, keep your legs shut!’

“That really tickled me.”

Amanda is no stranger to getting in trouble for her racy displays, as her racy outfits on BGT have sparked a number of Ofcom complaint flurries for being “inappropriate” for a family show.

The mum-of-two has said that her daughters Lexi, 15, and Hollie, 9, for their help to choose what she should wear for each Saturday night.

She told Daily Mail: “If I’m trying on outfits for shows I’ll say to Lexi, ‘Is there too much side-boob?’ or ‘Is this too much?’ and she’ll grin and say: ‘Go for it, Mum.'”

Watch it on Saturday at 7.20pm on BBC One.
