Amber Davies is overjoyed after securing her first television acting role since finding fame in 2017.
The reality star became a household name after winning Love Island with ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay but has since gone on to make a name for herself on the showbiz circuit.
Since being crowned the Love Island winner, Amber secured huge roles in London’s West End, starring in Dolly Parton’s hit musical, 9 to 5 alongside Louise Redknapp.
Now, she is turning her hand to television acting and will star in the forthcoming season of Almost Never alongside huge names such as The Masked Singer winner Aston Merrygold.

Sharing her exciting news to her fans, Amber took to Instagram sharing a string of behind-the-scenes snaps alongside the caption: “I am over the moon to be joining the cast of @almostnevershow for their THIRD SEASON!”
The Welsh star went on to say: “Feel so incredibly lucky to be doing my first TV Role with such a kind and wonderful cast & company!”

She will be starring alongside Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt and JLS star Aston Merrygold in the CBBC show.
Almost Never follows the trials and tribulations of boyband The Wonderland as they attempt to manoeuvre around various obstacles that are thrown at them.
Amber’s post which has racked up over 25,000 likes was soon filled with messages of praise from celebrity pals and her adoring fans.

Love Island co-star Olivia Attwood penned: “YES!! So so so proud, hard work pays off.”
While one supportive fan added: “Well done, gorgeous! First one of many.”
“Beyond proud of you,” said another.
Kimberly Wyatt gushed: ” Yaaaaaaaay!!!!! So happy to have you on board and what a fab day working together!!!! Loads of love!!”

A BBC insider told The Sun: “Amber is really keen to get into the world of acting on telly, and this is a great first step for her.
“She couldn’t wait to get started after agreeing to take part.”
Most recently, Amber was cast in the West End adaptation of Bring It On, alongside Olympian Louis Smith and will perform across the country.
Following her Love Island win, Amber has gone on to amass over 1.5 million followers on her Instagram page as well as 387,400 fans on her Twitter page.
