In January, Archie’s mother Lucy announced that her son had died after an intracerebral haemorrhage which was caused by an acute lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukaemia – an incredibly rare condition that kills approximately 800 people a year.
Archie’s parents only discovered the “harrowing” details from his second post mortem four days before Christmas.
The facts were only bought to light months after an inquest into his “unexplained” death had been previously abandoned.
On January 15, Lucy shared further information about her son’s death with her Instagram followers.
The mother said: “Archie had numerous bleeds on the brain and the doctor went to great lengths to reassure us that he wouldn’t have been in any pain as it happened in his sleep. The results utterly floored us to think something like this could happen.”
