Ashley Cain’s girlfriend Safiyya says she looks at sky for signs from Azaylia

Ashley Cain’s girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee has said that she looks towards the sky for signs from her baby daughter Azaylia after her tragic death.

Azaylia passed away at just eight months old after a long battle with acute myeloid leukaemia.

The 35-year-old mum said Azaylia was her “hero” and “inspiration” as explained that she had been looking for signs from her baby girl.

She recorded a clip from Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague of a beautiful red sky and shared it on Instagram.

She told her followers: “I keep looking up into the sky and looking for signs from Azaylia.

Azaylia passed away last week at the age of eight months

“So tonight I went to see her. As I left, I asked her what she was going to do special, for me in the sky tonight.

“As I was driving I couldn’t capture this moment but it made me say out loud. Wow.

“I had to screen record this off @mollymae story and show you what I saw as she captured the moment so beautifully.”

Safiyya believes the beautiful red sky is a sign from her baby Azaylia

She added: “The purest love I have ever felt in my life is for you Azaylia.

“The most incredible girl my hero, my baby, my inspiration. ADC. May God protect you, my guardian angel.”

Ashley recently promised to help other children going through serious health battles like his daughter as a way to keep her name alive.

He penned a heartfelt post to his Instagram Story saying: “I wanted to take this time to give thanks for all of your love, care, and support for Azaylia throughout her battle and still now for us as a family.

Safiyya called Azaylia her “guardian angel”

“I am broken and hurting more and more every day right now.

“But I made a promise to my daughter that I would keep her name alive by continuing to help other children, adults, and their families during their own battles and I will honour that promise until I see her again.”

Today Safiyya shared that she was “struggling every day” since Azaylia’s death.

She took to her Instagram to once again update her followers, saying “I struggle all through the day and night.

“Looking after my baby in hospital from 8 weeks old wasn’t the way I was expecting to become a mummy. But I counted every day as a blessing that I am Azaylia’s mummy and would give her my 100% every day.
