Carol Vorderman gushes that she’s 'in love' again as she jokes she’s meeting 'new man'

Carol Vorderman has admitted she is “in love” once again as she branded herself a “lucky woman” – and teased meeting up with her “new man”.

The former Countdown presenter took to Instagram to gush about how much she loves being in West Wales, where she has taken up the hobby of paddle-boarding.

Sharing a collection of photographs of herself cuddled up in a white and navy woollen jumper, Carol explained: “QUESTION… can you actually be IN LOVE with a PLACE???

“This is my heaven down here but I think I’m actually in love with it.

“So I get giddy when I even think about coming down to West Wales… properly giddy and all butterflies in my tummy… and then when I get here omg it’s like fireworks going off…

“Doesn’t matter if it’s raining or a beautiful summer’s day… I just love every minute and I wake up smiling and get all snuggled up in bed looking at the sea… it’s so beautiful and wild and special…

“My God but I’m a lucky woman… so so so so lucky…

“Sending love from heaven!”

Carol also posted a clip of her speaking candidly to the camera as she explained: “I’m so excited. This is heaven – my heaven.

“It might be raining, doesn’t matter. All you need is your wet weather trousers. Problem is – I can’t find mine!” she confessed.

Later, Carol went on to further tease her fans as she admitted she was planning to meet up with her “new man” via her Instagram Stories.

She cheekily explained: “Thursday morning I’m going to meet my new MAN – van!”

Of course, Carol was referring to the man with a van she is purchasing from MAN, the brand – rather than a literal new beau in sight.

Though the Loose Women star did admit she was feeling nervous about driving the vehicle for the first time, as she said: “I’m going to learn how to drive it… first time! So excited!”

In her personal life, Carol has been married twice – her first marriage was back in 1985 to Royal Navy officer Christopher Mather, but only lasted twelve months.

She then exchanged vows with management consultant Patrick King in 1990, and the pair had two children together – Katie and Cameron, before they split in 2000.

Lastly, Carol moved in with journalist Des Kelly from 2001 until they separated in 2006 and publicly announced the split in early 2007.

Since then, she has not dated publicly, and prefers to keep her private life on the down-low.
