Wayne Lineker has revealed that his celebrity crush is ‘obviously’ Chloe Ferry and the pair have been ‘seeing each other’ since the show.
The 58-year-old Celebs Go Dating star, who recently joked that the pair were engaged, opened up about his incredibly close friendship with the Geordie Shore bombshell.
Speaking to Bobby Norris and journalist Stephen Leng on FUBAR Radio, Wayne opened up about the recent engagement gaffe after striking up a friendship with Chloe on the Channel 4 dating show.
During the interview, Wayne also revealed that the pair have exchanged some “flirty” banter and expressed optimism about what might happen in the future.
“Me and Chloe just have a laugh all the time,” he explained.

When quizzed about being pictured with Chloe wearing a giant diamond ring, Wayne also revealed that Chloe had in fact convinced him to share the post.
He added: “She phoned me up last week. Because, I mean, we are seeing each other a little bit and having a bit of flirtatious banter and we’ll see what happens in the summer.

“But she said, ‘Come on let’s post it! Let’s have a laugh!’ I said, ‘You know it’s going to go viral don’t you?’ She went, ‘Yeah of course I do!’
Wayne also had nothing but praise for Chloe and revealed that their friendship was “tight.”
He continued: “But yeah, me and Chloe are really tight. She came on my podcast last week, No Excuse for Abuse, and she was amazing you know.

“But yeah, we’re really really close and she’s coming to Ibiza for the summer. And so, we’ll see what happens.”
When pressed by Bobby about whether he meant they were “seeing” each other romantically, Wayne replied: “We’re always flirting, Bobby.”
Wayne’s recent remarks came a few weeks after the duo sent social media into a frenzy when they unveiled a fake engagement snap.
At the time, Wayne uploaded the snap of the pair looking lovingly at each other while Chloe showed off a huge diamond ring on her left finger, sending their followers wild.
“She said YES! Love you @chloegshore1,” he added in the caption.
Of course, it has since emerged that the pair were only having a laugh – but it looks like romance is blossoming from their prank.
