Coronation Street Daniel star Rob Mallard strips totally naked for cheeky beach snap

Coronation Street star Rob Mallard put on a cheeky display in his latest Instagram post after stripping totally naked for a dip in the ocean.

The 29-year-old actor showed off his toned behind in the revealing snap as he prepared for a refreshing swim in the ocean.

Rob, who plays Daniel Osbourne in the ITV soap, posed looking out onto the ocean after removing his swimming trunks.

The star captioned the Twitter post: “Say what you sea #holiday,” sending fans into a frenzy in the comments section.

One fan gushed: “Woof, I see lunch dinner and breakfast….in that order.” A second added: “Nothing like standing in the sea flexing your a*** cheeks,” while a third commented: “if you ever decide to be straight please message me”.

Rob joined the Cobbles as Ken Barlow’s son in 2016 and has been at the centre of a big storyline in recent weeks, as he and love interest Daisy Midgeley embarked on a relationship.

In upcoming scenes fans will see Daniel attempt to wind Daisy up, but his efforts backfire and his comments ultimately cause friction between the pair.

It comes after a tough year for Rob’s character who lost his wife Sinead after she tragically passed away from cancer on the soap.

In recent months, Coronation Street fans saw Daniel become increasingly needy towards the escort he hired to wear his dead wife Sinead’s clothes and perfume.

Not wanting to totally say goodbye to his life partner, he had been telling escort Nicky all about Sinead during their meetings.

The star told TV Times that Daniel is yet to grieve properly for Sinead and face up to her death in an interview earlier this year.

The actor has played Daniel Osbourne in the ITV soap since 2016

He explained: “When Daniel is on the cobbles or with his family, he is acting as though he has found a way to move forward.

“The reality is that behind closed doors he hasn’t moved on at all.”

During an appearance on ITV’s This Morning in 2018, Mallard revealed that he suffers from an essential tremor, a neurological disorder that causes involuntary shaking.

He had previously appeared on the show in January 2018 which led to numerous comments on social media about his demeanour, especially his shaking, with some accusing him of being drunk.

He admitted that he has been suffering from the condition for nearly a decade.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV
