Coronation Street actor Charlie De Melo looks completely different in a throwback snap from his school days.
The actor, who plays Imran Habeeb in the ITV soap posted the retro photograph wearing a school uniform complete with fluffy hair do and a cheesy grin.
He looked unrecognisable from is usual polished look and one fan penned in the comment section: “You look like Mark Ruffalo.”
Another added: “You look like Olly Murs with dark hair.”
“You look so different,” said a third follower.
Imran is a fiendish lawyer but in real life Charlie is much more wholesome.
The 29 year old’s Instagram is dedicated to snaps of his adorable dogs as his two Golden Retrievers, Toni and Sarah, have recently had a litter of puppies.
His fans fawn over the pups in the comments section of the snaps and the little ones have a very important job ahead of them as they leave to be trained as guide dogs.
Charlie wrote: “Goodbye, babies. I’ll miss you all very dearly.
“Time for you to go out into the world and do some real good, just like guide dog Yogi and your other half brothers and sisters.”
He also let his fans in on a tactic that prevented the puppies from being stolen.
The TV star penned: “Full disclosure, I didn’t start uploading any of the photos or videos of the pups until after they had already left us.
“The number of thefts during lockdown was such that it was ill advised for me to even run a small risk of them being taken from us.
“Thank you for showing so much interest and engaging so much with these pups as they grew from little hairy slugs to the goodest boys and girls.
The charitable star encouraged his followers to take a look into supporting the dogs:
Charlie penned: “If you are able and interested, there are many ways to support Guide Dogs UK.
“If these kinds of journeys and stories meant something to you and you’d like to help tell them, that’s a good way to do it.”
He also tries to do his bit by spreading awareness for donating blood.
Coronation Street continues Wednesday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm
