Former Coronation Street star Kimberley Hart-Simpson has debuted a new look on social media claiming that she is a “catfish on the daily.”
The 34-year-old actress has ditched her Corrie character’s trademark light blonde locks for a stunning brunette style.
She shared the image to her 134 thousand Instagram followers on Thursday, while wearing a plunging black top and large hoop earrings.
Kimberley can be seen in the snap with her hand in her brunette waves as she stares into the camera with a full face of makeup.
She penned: “Make up is mad! #catfish on the daily.”
Aside from being a kind of river fish, a catfish is a slang term for someone who gets a person to like them using a false identity online.
However, Kimberley’s fans did not see her this way.
One said: “You are amazing.”
While another commented: “Wow.”
She even had former Love Islander, Molly Smith tell her she’s: “Gorg!”
This is not the first time the actress has changed up her looks.
Fans have also treated to a snap of her wearing a blonde bob style wig with dark streaks, saying: “Getting Wig-gy with it.”
Kimberley played character Nicky Wheatley in Corrie, who was a sex worker.
She grew close to widower Daniel Osbourne who’s friends and family encouraged him to get out more where he met Nicky.
Daniel was soon shocked to learn that Nicky was charging him for his time when they met up.
He decided to meet up with her in a hotel and paid her £220.
The grieving husband then paid her to wear his wife’s clothes but soon pleaded with her to quit her sex work.
Kimberly left the cobbles back in September but the door was left open for her to return.
Before starring in Corrie from June 2020, Kimberley appeared in Hollyoaks as the ruthless landlady Beverley.
You might also recognise her from Sky One comedy Mount Pleasant.
