Country music star Taylor Dee has died aged 33, it has been confirmed.
Tragically, the budding artist died last week after sustaining fatal injuries from a car crash in Texas, which occurred earlier in the month.
A local CBS affiliate reported that Texas Country Music Association spokeswoman Linda Wilson said: “Taylor Dee was the real deal – a true talent with a heart and passion not only for her music but for people.
“In every performance, her talent was evident, but more importantly she allowed her fans to know her heart. She will be missed tremendously.”
The talented star reportedly found herself in a collision while driving her SUV late in the evening.
It is believed that Dee missed her exit which prompted her to slam down hard on the brake pedal, with the star then ploughing into a barrier in her car.
The horrifying accident, which was suspected to have taken place at around 10:30pm, saw the singer ejected from her seat after her vehicle rolled.
It would seem that there had been another passenger on-board who is expected to make a full recovery after suffering minor injuries.
The country singer had been making a name for herself in the music industry after she had shot to fame in 2019 with her debut album The Buzz.
In an interview with Pro Country, The Buzz hitmaker explained that she had selected that song to show her “fun side”.
Although she’d enjoyed singing since her early years, it wasn’t until her teens that she decided on her career path.
Speaking to the same publication, she said: “I sang at the mayor’s Christmas party in Dallas, Texas, I was involved in the All State Regional Choir; that’s when I started realising this might be something I want to do for the rest of my life.
“Because performing in front of that many people and hearing their reactions did something to me. I never wanted to get off of the stage.”
