Dan Osborne devastated as grandma dies of coronavirus days before her birthday

Former TOWIE star Dan Osborne has been left heartbroken after his grandmother died of coronavirus.

Dan, 29, revealed the sad news to his Instagram fans as he explained his grandmother was healthy and active before suddenly taking ill ten days ago.

He made the announcement alongside a photo of him with his wife Jacqueline Jossa and his grandparents on the couple’s wedding day in 2017.

The reality TV star told his fans: “Happy birthday to my nan too. Can’t believe after all these years on this planet we lost you to this virus.

“It’s only been a few days and grandad missed you like mad. Please give him strength. We love you nan.”

“Obviously it sucks. Anyone with old people in your life, be super careful,” adding he was keeping safe in his work with constant testing.

He also urged his fans to be careful and stick to the national lockdown rules.

“If you’ve got to work just be extra careful. We’ve got these instant tests which help you know you’re not spreading anything,” he explained.

“My nan was fine a week and a half ago and now she’s not with us. It sucks.
