Denise van Outen has opened up about her plans to marry her boyfriend of seven years, Eddie Boxshall, once lockdown in over.
The Dancing on Ice star, 46, revealed that the city trader had not yet got down on one knee but instead they had both discussed plans for fixing a date.
It seems daughter Betsy, 10, who Denise shares with ex-husband Lee Mead, has also provided her mum and partner with her blessing and is “desperate” for them to tie the knot as soon as possible.
Denise and Lee were married between 2009 and 2013, with the former Big Breakfast host meeting Eddie soon after their split.
Speaking to Hello! magazine about her plans to walk down the aisle again, she said: “After this dreadful lockdown ends, there will be wedding bells.
“Betsy is desperate for us to get married. She tells us that all the time.”
The Celebrity Googlebox stars have said they wouldn’t want to go ahead with plans unless all of their loved ones could be there to witness them both exchange their vows.
The West End star added: “We want to do it, too, surrounded by all our family and friends.”
While there has been no official proposal the blonde from Chelmsford, Essex, insisted it was firmly on their agenda.
Denise said that she and Eddie are seeking counselling ahead of the wedding.

She explained: “That’s when we came up with this fun idea for a podcast series for myself and Eddie which would involve having counselling to sort out flaws that most people brush under the carpet before we venture into matrimony.
“Eddie and I have met different types of counsellors and had the discussions that most couples avoid. We’ve consulted a food therapist and a laughing counsellor and underwent hypnosis where we had to imagine we were each other and speak the truth.”
Denise is due to take to the ice this weekend on the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice and is partnered with Matt Evers, who has moved into her home to form a Covid-19 bubble.
Dancing On Ice airs this Sunday on ITV
