Danni Menzies has vowed to present A Place In The Sun in her bikini – but she has two strict conditions.
The Channel 4 host promised to front the series in her swimwear if the network boosts her salary, and if she receives enough requests from enthusiastic viewers.
Danni, 33, shared a throwback holiday snapshot on Instagram earlier this week, clearly pining for sunnier shores as one of her episodes aired.
In the photo, the broadcaster could be seen posing in a white bikini, the wind whipping around her face on a stretch of sandy beach.
Taking to the caption, Danni urged her fans to tune into Friday’s instalment of A Place In The Sun, admitting she was looking forward to her return to production in the coming days.
She said: “Hiya! I’ve got a new @aplaceinthesunofficial show on @channel4 today at 4pm where I’ll be house hunting with the lovely Shane and Sharron!
“Ngl [Not going to lie] filming today’s show feels like a life time ago, however I am buzzing because we might actually be getting back to work next week.”
“I haven’t had the sun on my skin since November and I’m so excited at the prospect,” she went on.
Danni insisted she wouldn’t be hosting the show in her bikini, but playfully admitted she was open to the idea if her demands were met.
She wrote: “Anyway, enjoy the show and have a lovely weekend beautiful people, and nope I won’t be hosting in my bikini
“…but should channel 4 receive enough requests and double my fee – well then it could happen!”
In the comment section below, Danni’s fans weighed in on the prospect, encouraging Channel 4 to boost her pay packet.
One joked: “Email sent to Channel 4, requesting they double your fee immediately.”
“Dear Channel 4…” another added, and a third chimed: “Wow! Looking amazing.”
A Place In The Sun has given Danni the opportunity to travel for a living, with the Scottish presenter experiencing her fair share of adventure on the road.
While filming a recent season, Danni spotted a puppy on the roadside, and immediately rescued the abandoned creature, finding it a loving home.
“We were driving in the mountains of Spain when I saw this little thing at the side of the road,” she told The Sunday Post.
“It was a puppy, she was half-dead… We found this lovely animal charity and a nice couple to adopt her.”
