Demi Lovato has bravely spoken about her near-fatal overdose back in 2018, which she is still learning to deal with three years later.
The singer and actress is set to open up about her personal battles in a raw documentary, titled Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil, her most candid interview to date.
Demi, 28, will bare all following the traumatic incident which saw her rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after being discovered unresponsive at her home in the Hollywood Hills area.
The star who found fame on the Disney Channel told the documentary’s Television Critics Association that the ordeal is still deep in her mind today.

“I was left with brain damage, and I still deal with the effects of that today, I don’t drive a car, because I have blind spots on my vision.
“For a long time, I had a really hard time reading, reading was a big deal when I was able to read out of a book, which was two months later because my vision was so blurry.

“I dealt with a lot of the repercussions and I feel like they are still there to remind me of what could happen if I ever get into a dark place again.”
Demi released her single, Sober, on June 21, 2018 – revealing that she had relapsed after having been sober for six years.
Just three days later she was blue lighted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles following an overdose.
Speaking about her decision to reveal the true extent of what happened on June 24, the Skyscraper songstress said: “I had so much to say over the past two years, wanting to set the record straight about what it was that happened.
“Any time that you suppress a part of yourself, it’s gonna overflow.”
Demi added: “I had crossed a line that I had never crossed before… I snapped. I had three strokes.
“I had a heart attack, my doctors said that I had five to 10 more minutes [to live].”
During the documentary that is set to be released via YouTube on March 23, Demi will open up about her recent whirlwind engagement to Max Ehrich.
Max and Demi had been dating for five months when he popped the question with an eye-watering diamond ring – sadly, they parted ways just two months after she said yes.
