Eamonn Holmes has addressed his recent hospital visit, and thanked all his fans as they continue to send messages of support his way.
The broadcaster, 61, had followers concerned last night as he shared the news that he was in the hospital, where doctors where striving to determine what had left him in the “worst pain of his life”.
He had been suffering sleepless nights as a result, and asked fans to wish him well.
Now Eamonn has reached out to others who’ve suffered similarly, and told that he’d like to discuss his condition on This Morning when he has a better idea of what exactly it is – and vowed not to let it stop him in his hosting duties.

“Will have clearer picture of what’s causing my pain tomorrow but just to say folks like so many of you I’ve lived with variations of Chronic pain for years,” he wrote.
“Don’t allow it to stop me working & next week I’d like to be a voice for many of u & discuss the subject on @thismorning.”
Eamonn and wife Ruth Langsford are due to return to This Morning next week as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take their Easter break.

And the star added: “In the meantime I am proud that my experience has given you a voice and I’m humbled by your various and different experiences & your kindness to me.
“If between us we can get more solutions more understanding and more resources directed towards CP then that would be a result.”
Eamonn had first told of his suffering as he took to social media in the early hours to tell fans he couldn’t get to sleep.

“Anyone else find these Hours the worst…. particularly if you suffer Chronic pain?”
Days later, he was in hospital.

Eamonn and Ruth will make their welcome return to our screens next week for Easter.
They used to regularly present Friday’s This Morning show, before ITV announced late last year that that slot would be taken by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
