EastEnders’ current showdown between Phil and Denise is set to ‘come to a head’, reveals Diane Parish.
Diane, who has been playing iconic Denise for 15 years is one of the most recognisable faces.
She’s known for her dramatic storylines and the star is facing one of her most intense plots yet.
Phil Mitchell, played by Steve McFadden, threatens to take their son Raymond (Michael Jose Pomares Clixte) away over fears for his life.
But will Denise let that happen? Eager fans will have to wait to find out – but Diane has given viewers a sneak peek by saying it’ll ‘come to a head’.
Speaking to The Daily Star on the Pride of Britain’s Red Carpet, she said: “As you know all sorts going on with my sister Kim.
“Then Me and Phil and the fight over Raymond. all that is coming to a head very soon.”
The 50-year-old added: “And there’s love with jack – it’s her first for me, a solid relationship – she’s gotta have one! Hopefully, that works out for her…
“I hope for her family to grow and be solid and to have a lot of fun and leave the drama with Kym.
“We are family Christmas episodes now – I can’t tell you anything though – I can’t give any away!”
The dramatic scenes between Phil and Denise stem from Phil having a tough time lately.
Kim Fox, played by Tameka Empson, is still digging around into the death of her husband Vincent – played by Richard Blackwood.
Phil revealed he had been killed by the hitmen of Aidan Maguire (Patrick Bergin) after runnings with his gang.
But Phil is fearing Raymond’s life may be threatened in the process.

When he tries to talk to Denise about Kim he reveals his plans that he may take Raymond away from Albert Square, saying: “Now I’m not having Raymond put. in danger”.
“Either stop her, or I’m taking him out of here,” he exclaimed, leaving Denise in shock: “Taking him where?”
“Spain, anywhere, anywhere away from here,” Phil responded.
