EastEnders star Maisie Smith has left fans worried for her wellbeing after sharing a video of her crying.
The soap actress, 20, revealed that she felt “useless and pointless” in an emotional clip posted to TikTok.
Masie shared the video after she finished filming her last scenes for the iconic BBC soap earlier this month, where she has played the role of Tiffany Butcher for 13 years.
In the video, the actress could be seen opening up to her fans about her mental health struggles as she rated her week with a short clip of herself from each day.
Rating her days candidly, she said: “3/10 felt useless, 6/10 was really productive, -10000/10 had some bad news, 2/10 just felt sad all day for some reason.
“3/10 did a good workout, 2/10 lost my personality, 1/10 felt pointless.”
On her worst day, the former child star was clearly crying as she bit her lip and stared away from the camera – rating her day a -10000/10.
Although Maisie didn’t reveal what the bad news that she received was, she appeared to go make-up free in the upsetting clip.
She explained that she “lost her personality” on one day, and felt “pointless” on the next.
Fans were left concerned for Maisie’s mental health, and her former EastEnders co-star Shona McGarty posted a sweet message of support in the comments section.
She wrote: “I love you” alongside a heart emoji.
One caring fan commented: “Maisie, look after yourself.”
A second wrote: “That’s so sad, I hope everything’s okay my darling.”
A third said: “We all have a bad day or week, hope you’re okay.”
The red-headed beauty has played her iconic EastEnders Tiffany role on and off for over 10 years.
She first joined the soap in 2008, and left in 2014 before returning to Walford in November 2016 for a guest stint, and making a full-time return in January 2018.
However, it was announced that she would be leaving the soap in October, after she decided not to renew her contract when it expired that month.
Her final scenes, and how she leaves the soap, are yet to be revealed.
Maisie recently returned from taking part in this year’s series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in the Middle East.
