Former Emmerdale actor Danny Miller may be in for a hellish few weeks on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! if his entrance is anything to go by.
In tomorrow night’s show, the dad of one is seen feeling extremely queasy ahead of even entering Gwrych Castle.
Making a grand entrance to the castle, which is set to be home to the celebs for the next three weeks, the colour drains from Danny’s face as he realises he will be riding in on a helicopter.
Turning to the camera, he says: “The idea of getting in that helicopter terrifies the life out of me. The last thing I want to do is be sick all over the celebrities.”
Danny is joined in his helicopter by Louise Minchin, Naughty Boy and Snoochie Shy, while Arlene Phillips, David Ginola, Matty Lee and Kadeena Cox MBE rode in a separate helicopter.
While the celebs catch a peek at each other as they ride over the sea together, Danny, 30, grips onto a sick bag as he tried to ward off the queasiness.
Danny shared his thoughts about exiting Emmerdale and heading onto I’m A Celebrity ahead of the show starting.
He said: “I’ve always wanted to be a dad, and I’m now blessed with Albert and Steph and I’m in a position, when I was offered this show (I’m A Celebrity), to be able to try and see what else is out there and see where else my career path leads me.
“And if it doesn’t (lead anywhere), the money that the show gives you means that, if anything, I’ll just have the year off – me, Albert and Steph.
“And for the sake of sacrificing three weeks, he won’t remember but I certainly will. It was a decision that made me think, ‘well, I’m going to do it because of the security it will give us in the future’.”
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! starts on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
