Geordie Shore fans concerned for Bethan Kershaw as she sobs in troubling video

Geordie Shore’s Bethan Kershaw broke down in tears as she filmed herself having a “break down” after a difficult Mental Health Awareness Week.

The 26-year-old shared videos of Instagram dressed in just a towel with her wet blonde hair tied back and no makeup.

She told her 692k followers: “”I am going to have a break down. I’m literally going to have a break down.”

Bethan then burst into song, singing: “I’ll tell you why I’m having a break down, I am going to break down because people won’t leave me the f**k alone.”

She said that she was due to start filming in just four minutes before screaming into a cushion and breaking down into tears.

She explained: “I literally can’t take it anymore, I am so, so overwhelmed with how many people try and contact me in a day.

“It’s f**king just too much, man. It’s too much for one person to deal with. I’m meant to be filming in four minutes.”

She struggled to calm herself down before announcing she would be taking a break saying she had to “let people down”.

She said: “I think it’s only right for me to do a little video now to explain that at the minute I am struggling mentally.

“I don’t know whether it’s because I’m talking about it a lot, it’s Mental Health Awareness Week, I just don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know.

“But I am going to take some time off, recuperate, get the energy back. Sometimes, you’ve got to let people down.”

Bethan then posted a lengthy message to her Instagram Story thanking her family, friends and fans for their support and apologising for cancelling work commitments.

“Mental Health Month was supposed to be a massively busy time for me and I was so looking forward to reaching out to as many people as possible, to help uplift them and even just let them know they aren’t alone in this,” Bethan went on.

“I don’t know if this has been a trigger for me, or just how the world works sometimes, but I’ve taken a dip in my own mental health and therefore I don’t think it would be true to myself or fair to others if I pretended I was okay because this is the stigma I’m trying to break.
