Gina Marie Krasley died on Sunday at her home in Tuckerton, New Jersey, an obituary by Maxwell Funeral Home in New Jersey stated.
The My 600lb Life star reportedly passed away “surrounded by her loving family” on August 1, the obituary for the 30-year-old read.
Although her cause of death has not been announced, she recently revealed that she was struggling with a mystery illness after revealing that she was immobile and struggling with pain in her legs.
She also explained that her fingers were numb and she was receiving home care, she also visited a neurologist on the Thursday before her death.
In the obituary, it was said that Gina’s lifelong passion was dancing and even started a TikTok trend of “dancing has no size limit” as she declared how she wanted to open up a dance studio for children with special needs.
My 600lb Life wasn’t Gina’s first trip into stardom as she reportedly appeared in a movie called Walking to the Waterline when she was a young girl.
Gina’s family have asked people to wear pink or purple in memory of her, as they were her favourite colours, and they have also requested that instead of flowers, donations are made to a mental health charity.
Gina starred in the eighth season of My 600lb Life on TLC, with the point of the show being that people who weigh over 600lbs enrol themselves in a year-long fitness regime.
After her time on the show, Gina focused on social media stardom as she launched her TikTok account which saw her amass over one million likes for her clips.
The TV star had built well over 200,000 followers on TikTok as people who visited her channel praised her for her carefree attitude and assortment of dancing videos.
She landed a strong following as she built up a loyal fanbase on her profile, many of whom have been quick to share their tributes to Gina.
