GMB viewers 'can't stop staring' as Kate Garraway's jumper looks like 'bikini'

Kate Garraway left Good Morning Britain viewers scratching their heads on Friday with her latest outfit choice.

The 53-year-old broadcaster was back on our screens with co-star Ben Shephard this morning but fans were distracted by the unusual pattern on her jumper.

Viewers quickly pointed out that the design on Kate’s green sweater made it look like she was wearing a bikini.

Others suggested that Kate looked like she was wearing her bra on the outside of her jumper.

Fans rushed to their keyboards to discuss Kate’s latest fashion statement.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Loving Kate’s jumper. With that pattern I think she is paying homage to all those Bond Girls. Lovely bikini top.”

A third person posted: “My wife just pointed out that Kate’s jumper makes it look like she’s wearing a bikini and I can’t unsee it now.”

While a fourth viewer wrote: “I love Kate but a bit bemused by her jumper.

“It looks like it has integrated woollen bikini top. I just can’t stop staring at her boobs.”

“Kate, it looks like you have bra on the outside of your jumper,” a fifth fan pointed out.

Mother-of-two Kate admitted she is “really struggling” with homeschooling her two children as the lockdown means schools are closed once again.

Kate has been teaching Darcy, 14, and 11-year-old Billy as their father and Kate’s husband Derek Draper is still recovering in hospital from a tough coronavirus battle.

“We have made it to Friday, a collective sigh of relief to anybody who is locked into the torture of home schooling,” she began.

“First time round, I was somewhat distracted at the time, and a lot of people felt quite nice, the sun was shining, we thought, ‘Great, time with the children, let’s see what those teachers are doing’.

“And very quickly realised how brilliant teachers are, and this time around it’s a really struggle isn’t it?”

Co-host Ben Shephard agreed: “I think it’s really hard this time because of the weather particularly, and the kids want to just get back to school and be with their friends.”

Kate added: “They want to see other kids don’t they, and it feels like here we go again.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
