Gordon Ramsay bans daughter Tilly, 19, from dating Strictly's pro dancers

It seems celeb chef Gordon Ramsay isn’t too keen on his daughter Tilly succumbing to the so-called ‘Strictly curse’ – as he has banned her from dating her dance partner.

Doting dad Gordon has now placed a ban on his 19-year-old daughter getting romantic with any of the professional dancers on the show.

It was announced on Wednesday that TikTok star Tilly would be part of the coveted BBC Strictly Come Dancing line-up, and about to get even more intimately acquainted with glitz and glamour.

Tilly appeared on This Morning to reveal the news, gushing to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that she can’t wait to share the news with her pals.

Her parents, Gordon and Tana Ramsay, were the only people who knew about her upcoming stint on the programme.

The 54-year-old chef had a message of good luck for his daughter, which was played out on the show – but he also had some rather stern advice.

He announced on the video: “Hey Tils, it’s your dad – TikTok coach, dancer extraordinaire – wishing you all the very best.

“We’re proud of you girl. Love you!”

Wife Tana said: “She’s leaving you far behind. Thank goodness it’s her and not you!

“Tilly, you’re incredibly brave. I’m terrified but so excited for you. Good luck!” the mum added.

And Gordon cheekily warned: “And don’t date those dancers!”

Tilly couldn’t help blushing at her dad’s message, as she told Eamonn and Ruth: “Of course he had to slip in something embarrassing!”

Writing on Instagram, Tilly said she is “so excited and grateful to be taking part”, adding: “This is going to be my biggest challenge yet but I can’t wait to get my dancing shoes on and join the Strictly family!”

Dad Gordon couldn’t help but comment: “So proud @tillyramsay, let me know if you want me to show you some more moves! Love you girl!”

The pair are used to making hilarious TikTok clips together, and have showed off their moves on various occasions.

It isn’t yet known who Tilly will be dancing with, but she will be joining a whole array of celebs to take to the dance floor.

Confirmed so far are Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies, actor Greg Wise, comedian Robert Webb, TV presenter AJ Odudu and McFly star Tom Fletcher.

Also confirmed are CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson, chef John Whaite, soap star Katie McGlynn and BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker.
