Halle Berry’s fashion sense has a place in the Hollywood hall of fame, having delivered history-making looks on the red carpet and as a Bond girl.
Naturally, the actress, 54, is ahead of the curve when it comes to scouting new designers – as proven by her latest Instagram post.
The Catwoman star worked a coordinated outfit by NYC designer Laquan Smith on Instagram, sharing the look with her followers.
On top, Halle modelled a coffee-coloured bra, which had been cut in the same material as her oversized parachute pants.
The trousers were clasped at the ankle, and she added a pair of open-toed heels by way of accessories.
In the snap, Halle closed her eyes and gazed up at the sun, her arms clasped before her front as she posed on a shaded outdoor staircase.
Halle thanked Laquan for his wares in the caption, saying: “When the pants so dope, you don’t need a top. thank you @laquan_smith.”
The comment section below was filled with compliments from Halle’s celeb mates and fans, as they swooned over the stylish two-piece.
Model Heidi Klum added a stream of fire emojis, while another admirer wrote: “Love them but everything looks amazing on you.”
Originally from Queens, New York, top designer Laquan’s interest in sewing began at an early age when he inherited his grandmother’s sewing machine.
He made his New York Fashion Week debut in 2010, grafting hard over the next decade and eventually catching the attention of Hollywood’s elite.
Halle isn’t the first A-lister to sing Laquan’s praises – just last week, Kylie Jenner made headlines when she stepped out in one of his sheer body stockings.
Cut from a cherry-red mesh, the makeup mogul threw a red leather coat on top, with velvet panelling draping across her bust and waist.
Laquan branded Kylie the “Devil in a new dress” as he shared the shots to his feed, as the KUWTK star’s followers flooded the comments below.
Her sister Kim Kardashian is similarly a fan of Laquan’s work, stepping out in his rose gold leather bodysuit during a promotional shoot for KKW Beauty.
Singer Selena Gomez, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and supermodel Winnie Harlow are similarly fans of his work.
