Hollyoaks actor David Tag has confirmed he is expecting a baby with his girlfriend Abi Harrision.
The buff star, who plays Sylver McQueen in the hit Channel 4 soap, confirmed the news by sharing a cute baby bump snap on his official Instagram account.
David, 35, captioned the post with a positive message about being stuck in lockdown for the majority of 2020.
The TV regular wrote alongside a silhouette of Abi’s baby bump: “Some good came out of 2020….”
David’s post was quickly flooded with messages of congratulations from his Hollyoaks colleagues.
Gregory Finnegan, who plays James Nightingale, replied: “Ah that’s wonderful – congrats mate. Gx”

Owen Warner, who plays Romeo Quinn, added: “Big mannnnnnn, congratulations bro.”
Meanwhile, former co-star Rachel Adedeji, who quit the show amid racism claims last year, wrote: “Awww. Congratulations to you and your mama to be David. Such a wonderful blessing.”
David’s character was recently at the centre of one of Hollyoaks most gripping storylines of 200 after the Chester locals discovered his mum Brenda was in a serial killer.

As well as her murders, Brenda was also keeping Tony Hutchinson barely alive in a disused pig farm.
Things came to an explosive head resulting in Sylver killing his mum.
David’s on screen parter Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays one of Hollyoaks most central characters Mercedes McQueen, is said to be smitten with footballer Chris Eagles.
The iconic soap starlet split from her partner Greg Lake least year.

Confirming the sad news, Jen posted online: “Greg and I decided to part ways amicably a couple months ago.
“We remain friends and we both will continue to happily co parent Daye and would appreciate privacy during these times.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported us before, during and after this.”
A source told The Sun Online “They’re really smitten with each other.
“They’ve known each other for a while but only very recently started dating.
“The relationship is in its very early stages and things are going well. Who knows where things could go?”
Former Manchester United player Chris split from his fiancée Danielle Mitchinson at the start of 2020.
Reps declined to comment on Jen’s potential new romance at the time of reports.
