Home and Away Mia star hints at baby loss heartache amid Ari pregnancy discovery

Home and Away’s Mia Anderson and Ari Parata (Anna Sansom and Rob Williams) look set for more baby heartache after deciding they want to have another baby.

Fans know that they have been through a loss in the past, with their son Kauri passing away after only a few days, leaving them both devastated before they arrived in Summer Bay.

But next week, the pair are left disappointed to discover they’re not pregnant after Ari discovers an unused pregnancy test.

Later, Chloe is hurt to hear they’re trying for another baby and panics they’re being set up for further heartbreak, after the losses Mia and Ari have been through in the past.

When Ari tells her how keen they are to have a child of their own, Chloe is hurt even further as she worries she’s not good enough because she’s not his biological daughter.

But as Chloe eventually gives the pair her blessing to keep trying for their own baby, could the pair be destined for more tragedy?

Speaking to Daily Star about Mia’s baby fears, Anna hinted that her character’s dreams of having a baby could never happen.

She said: “Of course Mia is worried that she might never get to have another baby, how could she not after everything she has been through?

“She’s torn because part of her isn’t sure whether she can go through the heartache all over again, but she is also desperate to have another child.”

Anna added: “It’s terrifying for her, and who knows if it ever happen for her and Ari?

“But they’re both serious about trying to make it happen, so we’ll just have to wait and see if it does for them… it’s going to be a long road though.”

The pair could be set for more devastation after Emily Weir, who plays Mackenzie Booth, hinted that Mac and Ari could end up reuniting one day after their sudden split.

Mac was left heartbroken, and pregnant, when Ari left her to be with Mia, but could the pair end getting back together as Mia and Ari face more baby woes?

She told Daily Star: “Mac was left totally devastated by Ari’s confession about Mia, she didn’t see it coming at all.

“Of course she is hoping that he is suddenly going to see sense and realise it is her that he wants to be with, not Mia, but who knows if it will happen?

“She definitely still loves him, she was gutted by the split.”

Looks like there is plenty of drama ahead in Summer Bay…

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm on Channel 5.
