I’m A Celeb fans thought they spotted an amusing link between Arlene Phillips and Hollie Arnold in the opening episode of the ITV show.
The beloved celeb challenge show returned to our screens on Sunday night (November 21), and this year’s celebs introduced themselves to the public in their opening video tapes.
However, when it came to former Strictly judge Dame Arlene Phillips’ introductory video, ITV viewers couldn’t help but notice a similarity to last year’s contestant, Hollie Arnold MBE.
Choreographer Arlene appeared on the screen and mentioned her royal title, Dame, three times, but she claimed she “forgets” about her title.

Eagle-eyed viewers don’t miss a beat though, and many referenced Paralympic athlete Hollie Arnold – who became known for allegedly bringing up her MBE title a lot during her time on the show.
Hollie’s title became a running gag on the show, and some viewers on Twitter joked that Arlene could be the next victim of the royal-title-banter.
One fan said: “Can’t wait for Arlene to pull a Holly Arnold and mention her Damehood every 5 seconds”

A second said: “”Arlene: I am a Dame but it’s a title I often forget about ….. now I’m going to mention it 3 times just in my opening 3 minute VT.”
A third wrote: “Me if Dame Arlene Philips will be like Holly Arnold MBE” as they attached a photo of TOWIE star Gemma Collins waving disapprovingly.
A fourth thought back to last year’s MBE jokes as they added: “holly arnold MBE was the funniest thing last year”

Hollie’s title became an internet meme after she announced her MBE title on the walky-talky during last year’s first episode.
The Team GB athlete became the first celebrity to be voted off of the show.
Arlene has admitted she’s “concerned” about being the oldest campmate in the show’s history – at 78 years old.
She told the Mirror: “Obviously I’m concerned – everything changes in your body when you get older.
