I'm a Celeb's Richard Madeley is 'perfect man' according to daughter Chloe

Fitness fanatic, Chloe Madeley sang the praises of her father, Richard Madeley on the eve of his first night in the I’m a Celebrity castle.

Richard, 65, who rose to fame with his wife Judi as presenters on This Morning, is set to enter the I’m A Celebrity Gwyrch Castle on Sunday evening.

Although Richard is notorious for his outspoken character, his daughter Chloe, 34, had plenty to say about her father.

In an interview Chloe said: “I would say that all my good qualities come from my dad. He is just perfect and he is a perfect man to be a father.”

“He is such a good laugh. He is funny, charming, super-duper intelligent, perceptive, and very compassionate and knows the difference between right and wrong. I just thank my lucky stars for him really.

Chloe has spoken in the past of how grateful she feels to have her parents, Richard and Judy.

In an Instagram post shared recently, Chloe uploaded a picture of her sitting on a sofa next to her mother, Judy, drinking wine. She captioned the snap, simply, “lucky”.

Chloe said she loves her father despite his outspoken antics

Chloe, who is married to former England rugby player, James Haskell, has never been afraid of Richard’s outspoken antics.

Most famously, Richard announced that Chloe was an “accident” live on air when chatting to Kate Garraway on Good Morning Britain.

Richard, who has since signed up to be a permanent host on Good Morning Britain, made the comment as a guest presenter to the amusement of fans.

Although many viewers thought Chloe would be heartbroken at the revelation, she said she already knew. With already three other siblings, Chloe said her being an accident was a “sweet family joke”.

She added: “I could not have asked for a better father and he is 10 out of 10 and he is 100% everything you’d want in a dad and it kind of makes me frustrated when people don’t see that or know that.”

Richard is due to enter the I’m A Celeb castle on Sunday evening with fellow celebrities including Louise Minchin, Snoochie Shy and Dame Arlene Phillips.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here begins on Sunday 21st November on ITV and the ITVHub.
