Katie Price and Harvey in emotional goodbye as he returns to residential school

Katie Price was seen kissing her son Harvey goodbye today as he headed back to residential school.

The 42-year-old hugged her son before he left for his first day back since the government shut down schools in the wake of the pandemic.

They were seen laughing together at a joke before Katie pointed at something in the sky, looking glamorous with her hair and makeup as perfect as ever.

Dressed in green sweatpants and a long-sleeved grey top, the former glamour model cuddled her son close for a long goodbye preparing to spend some tough time apart whilst Harvey gets his schooling.

The mother and son shared an emotional goodbye before Harvey set off for school

Harvey carried an iPad and wore a black hoodie with a frog emblem from his own clothing collection with brand Born Anxious.

He helped create the clothing designs, bringing in his love for frogs and his own handwriting on a range of special sensory clothing.

The collection includes hoodies, tracksuits, shorts and basketball wear.

In her latest YouTube video, Katie revealed that Harvey would be returning to residential school before heading off to college.

Katie renewed the search for colleges after fearing Harvey would be “too far away”

Responding to her asking whether he was excited to go back, Harvey said: “Yeah, Princess and mummy, I’m excited.”

Harvey suffers from a rare complex genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome and is partially blind with severe autism.

The mother and son’s documentary Harvey & Me showed them hunting for the right college for Harvey and visiting the National Star College in Cheltenham.

Katie has since applied for a place at the National Star College and is due to find out next month whether she has been successful.

However, she also runs the risk of being unable to get the government funding needed to cover the £350,000 per year that National Star College needs in order to house Harvey and cater to his complex needs.

Additionally, last month it was reported that Katie was concerned that the college was “too far away” at a three-hour drive, and that she would be unable to “’immediately help him” if Harvey was in need.

Since then, she has reportedly restarted her search to look for other colleges.

Today marks the return of kids to school after more than two months of being home schooled during lockdown.

The mum of five said goodbye to her two children with ex-husband Kieran Hayler earlier that morning.

She posted a sweet snap of Bunny, 6, and Jett, 7, armed with their crumpets and water bottles and dressed in their school uniforms.

Katie captioned the adorable photo: “Finally my babies back at school and they are so excited”.
