Katie Price called the police on herself to make sure she was following Covid travel rules to give treats to her fans.
Katie delivered boxes of her own bath bombs to her loyal fans’ doors to thank them for their support.
The 42-year-old said: “I wouldn’t be here today unless it was for my fans supporting me and buying into what I do or watching my shows.”
“I can’t go near you, I can’t take a picture of you but I hope you enjoy it.”
But one fan did not even recognise the former glamour model when she came to personally deliver the bath bombs to their door.
The woman opened the door to Katie but appeared not to know it was really her.
She said: “For me?” when handed the gifts and replied “lovely” when Katie told her they were bath bombs, before taking the box inside and shutting the door.
Katie was able to get around the pandemic lockdown restrictions after she called the police herself to check.
She told one eager fan: “I checked with police because everyone complained when I put it on social media, and they said it was fine because I was filming.”
The Sun revealed that Katie was warned twice in February about the definition of essential travel.
An insider told the Sun said: “Police went round yesterday and spoke to Katie and Carl about essential travel and what is within the rules and what isn’t.
“Katie hasn’t done anything wrong – she was working – but it sounds like her own fans reported her for the trip to Sheesh (restaurant) and for driving around surprising people who’d bought her bath bombs.
“She put both on social media. She’s now scrapped trips to meet fans face to face and will video call people instead.”

Katie’s rep confirmed that police had visited the star but that “to their best knowledge no fine was incurred”.
Kate’s boyfriend Carl Woods went on Instagram to complain about the police turning up at their door to tell them off for unessential travel again this week.
He told fans: “I just had the police back at the door again”
“This time because we had Sheesh takeaway last night and someone reported us saying it’s ‘unessential’ that we went to Sheesh to get takeaway.
“What is wrong with you people? You’re just wasting police time.
“I’m just going to carry on, living the way I live and so is Kate because we’re doing nothing wrong.”
