Kerry Katona was the butt of the joke during a recent Cabaret night in central London thanks to Blue singer Duncan James.
The buff star, 43, couldn’t resist taking a savage swipe at Kerry, 40, as he hosted a near sell-out night at London’s Proud.
Duncan took to the stage in a tight corset and fishnets combo.
Teetering in a pair of killer heels, the chart-topper initially compared himself to the tabloid regular before joking she couldn’t pull off the look like he could.
Turning to the celebrity-packed audience which included Brookside actress Claire Jane Sweeney and Labour MP and former Shadow Secretary Dawn Butler, Duncan playfully mocked: “I look like Kerry Katona in Atomic Kitten.”
Spinning on his heels, Duncan added: “Kerry Katona wishes she looked this good.”
Clarifying the dig was simply a joke, Duncan hastily added how much he is a fan of the notorious star.
Later on in the show the former Hollyoaks and West End actor pulled his mum to the side of the stage to get her take on his daring look.
“Mum, what do you make of your son as a f*****?” he promptly asked.
As his mum looked on he added: “What do you think of me like this mummy? Are you ashamed or do you like it?”
After pausing to choose her words carefully, she replied: “Well… To be quite honest I am quite used to it.
“I always wanted a daughter.”
Taking the dig on the chin, Duncan strutted off booming: “Well girl, now you’ve got one!”
As well as Duncan, who takes it in turns to host the evening with Denise Van Outen, the show features a range of wild and daring performers inclining burlesque dancers, fire eaters and areal artists.
Talking to Daily Star the spectacle, Denise said: “The show itself is burlesque and it’s sexy but it has also got some amazing performers from the Moulin Rouge in Paris.
“There is never a time you can wear something like I do in the show but because it is a costume, I’m like, ‘I’m 47 in a few weeks so make the most of it before everything goes south’.
“I do love it. I wouldn’t walk around normally in the day like that.
“You won’t find me on Gogglebox in a pair of fishnets – put that way.
“By day on Gogglebox it’s slippers and the sofa and by night it’s fishnets and a mic.”
