Kerry Katona appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning to join in on their lengthy debate regarding urinating in the ocean, something which the former Atomic Kitten star is avidly against.
Although she admitted to finding it “disgusting” it seems she might still be slightly mortified from when she was a child, so it’s not looking like she would be wanting to wee in anything but a toilet anytime soon.
Recalling her memory as a youngster, Kerry said: “I was taken to the zoo and my mum made me wee near the lion’s den and it turned around and sprayed all over me!
“I don’t want to pee in the ocean and have some shark come and pee all over me. I also don’t want pee on my fish.”
One Kate reassured Kerry that sharks aren’t attracted to urine and wouldn’t come and wee all over her, she asked if that would change Kerry’s mind – but she remained defiant.
She said: “Also, say my little girl is out in the sea swimming and someone comes and pees next to us, that’s disgusting!
“It takes you two minutes to go to the toilet. Don’t get me wrong, I did it as a kid but as an adult it’s something I frown upon.”
Kerry’s confession and adamant dislike for urinating in the ocean came after Nick Ede admitted he doesn’t see anything wrong with it.
After Kerry’s discussion, Ranvir said: “It’s lazy Nick, it’s lazy and it’s dirty.”
Nick added: “I don’t think it’s lazy, but the sea is cold and it warms you up for a few seconds. The sea is a fine place to pee.”
Kerry remained utterly mortified, but the pair agreed that they will just avoid ever holidaying together.
The discussion comes as polls have been distributed across GMB to quiz whether viewers believe it is acceptable to urinate in the ocean.
As it stands, of a current 8,800 people who have cast their vote 75% of them have said it’s not wrong to wee in the sea, whereas 25% of voters said that it is wrong.
GMB returns tomorrow on ITV at 6am.
