Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian, 42, shocked and delighted fans with a tattoo display.
But there was a twist in the tale, as the photo shared by the reality star was highly edited.
The mum-of-three sported an edgy look with various ‘tattoos’ on her upper chest, arms and legs – but they’re not actually real.
Kourtney appeared to have a large butterfly on her upper chest and a barbed wire heart near one of her wrists.
The image was first uploaded to his 6 million Instagram followers by her fiancé Travis Barker, 46 – who reportedly has over 70 percent of his body covered in tattoos.
The surprising snap was shared with emojis of a rose, a butterfly and a spider. Travis later revealed that the image had been framed.
Kourtney could be seen sitting in Travis’ lap as she modeled a black crop top and matching skirt.
The Blink-182 musician tagged artist Cheyenne Randall, who is understood to have created the image using a genuine photo of the couple taken by photographer Julia Kulik.
Cheyenne wrote on his account: “This was a fun one working on top of this dope photo of [Travis and Kourtney] by [Julia].” This captioned a photo of himself drawing on top of the photo, making it clear that the ‘tattoos’ aren’t real.
Both Julia and Kourtney later shared the doctored photo on Instagram. The KUWTK star has a staggering 156 million followers.
Some fans were impressed by the way Kourtney looked in the image, with one responding: “I hope she makes them permanent.” Another wrote: “She looks fit with tattoos.”
“Kourtney actually looks awesome with tattoos,” said another fan on Travis’ post. Whilst a fourth commented: “Just when I thought Kourt couldn’t get any hotter.”
One fan said: “She should get real tattoos. She looks great.” Another said: “Kourtney would look f***ing hot with tattoos on her.”
While the doctored image appears to have been a hit, Kourtney is completely devoid of tattoos, just like her younger sister Kim Kardashian, 41.
