The kidnapping of Lady Gaga’s dogs and shooting of her dogwalker may have been part of a gang initiation, it has been reported.
According to TMZ, a source told the publication that police believe that the robbery and shooting was part of a gang initiation after a string of similar crimes have been committed in the LA area.
Last month, dogwalker Ryan Fischer was shot whilst walking three of Lady Gaga’s dogs.
The 34-year-old’s beloved French Bulldogs, Koji and Gustavo, were snatched by thieves while Miss Asia managed to run away and escape.
The dogs were later “found tied to a pole in an alley” miles away from where they were grabbed.

The publication also claims that the $500,000 reward that the singer put up for the recovery of her precious pooches has not yet been dished out.
The police are reportedly waiting to clear the woman who found the dogs of any suspicion before she is able to claim her reward.
Sources told the US website the police do not believe the woman was responsible for the dognapping but are investigating to make sure she had no involvement after the fact.

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, is reportedly ready to pay up the $500,000 (£360,000) she posted up for the safe return of her “family”.
Before they were found she penned a heartfelt plea on Instagram writing: “My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness.
“I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us. Or, if you bought or found them unknowingly, the reward is the same.
“I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”
Meanwhile Ryan is expected to make a full recovery after being shot in the terrifying robbery.
His family released a statement saying: “Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
“We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan.”
