Little Mix stars Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have failed to acknowledge ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson’s debut solo release and have unfollowed her on Instagram.
Jesy, 30, dropped her first solo single Boyz featuring Nicki Minaj on Friday.
The track sampled Diddy’s classic hip-hop record Bad Boys For Life, with the US sensation also making a cameo appearance in the music video.
Boyz has since topped the iTunes chart in both the UK and the US but in spite of its early success, none of Little Mix’s three remaining members have publicly acknowledged the song’s release.
All three singers have also now unfollowed Jesy on Instagram.

While not publicly commenting on the release of Jesy’s single, all three Little Mix members did update their own social media accounts.
Posting to their respective Instagram stories on Friday, both Jade and Perrie re-posted stories highlighting Little Mix’s chart success whilst seemingly ignoring the release of Boyz.
In posts they shared, the bandmates celebrated two of Little Mix’s singles remaining in the top 40 biggest songs of 2021 so far.
They also reposted a update revealing that the band had surpassed 6.5 billion views on YouTube, making them only the fourth female group to do so.

On Little Mix’s official Instagram page, the band simply encouraged their fans to support their forthcoming release Between Us.
Their story read: “The signed Between Us records are only live for a few more hours.”
To her own Instagram stories, Leigh-Anne shared a poem which included the line: “You can attempt to imitate, but soul, you cannot buy.”
The post came as Jesy defended herself from Blackfishing claims, which spawned from social media comments which alleged and suggested that the star was appropriating Black culture in her music and appearance.

Asked about the comments, Jesy told Vulture: “The whole time I was in Little Mix I never got any of that. And then I came out of [the band] and people all of a sudden were saying it.
“I wasn’t on social media around that time, so I let my team [deal with it], because that was when I’d just left.
“But I mean, like, I love Black culture. I love Black music. That’s all I know; it’s what I grew up on. I’m very aware that I’m a white British woman; I’ve never said that I wasn’t.”
Jesy announced her departure from Little Mix in December 2020, revealing in a statement that she was stepping away from the band for the sake of her mental health.
