Love Island fans weren’t impressed with Faye Winter’s final date with Teddy Soares – despite them finally making things official – and many even wanted to fast-forward the whole thing.
In sweet scenes, Faye and Teddy found themselves in a swimming pool decorated with thousands of rose petals, all arranged into the shape of love hearts.
The gorgeously decorated pool featured a fruit buffet in the centre, and was the perfect spot for Teddy to ask Faye to be his girlfriend.
She couldn’t quite get her words out, though, as she ended up giggling with her mouth open, but eventually said yes.
Faye went on to discuss some of her past relationship issues – with them both admitting that Casa Amor made them “stronger” as a couple.
It came after Faye assumed Teddy strayed in the other villa after spotting him snogging on the postcard that arrived to the original girls – but after it emerged it was only for a challenge, they managed to patch things up.
It’s been a rocky road for the couple, with the Movie Night challenge further shaking things up.
But fans were far from impressed, as they wanted to skip through the whole event.
“The dates are so boring to watch tho… can we just fast forward to the Jiberty drama please?” someone tweeted.
Another viewer posted: “This episode is dry, fast forward man I don’t care for Faye and Teddy!”
As a third penned: “Can we fast forward Faye and Teddy’s date please, thanks! #LoveIsland.”
Later, Kaz and Tyler went on their own date, where they were serenaded by violin players while they enjoyed a relaxed meal.
But amidst the romance, there was plenty of drama going on in the ‘Jiberty’ department, as Liberty admitted she “isn’t right” for Jake, after he repeatedly called her messy and appeared to put her down during a chat on the daybeds.
“Maybe it’s best for us to go our separate ways and do what’s right for the pair of us,” Jake admitted.
Liberty wished him luck for the future and hoped that he’d find “somebody better”.
It left the blonde beauty in floods of tears, with fans terrified she would quit the villa entirely.
“I need to stay true to myself,” Lib told her pal Faye as she sat in tears outside the villa – later admitting she needs someone to love her for who she is, including her “messiness”.
Liberty tore her microphone off and emotionally strode away, telling Faye: “We’re done.”
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub.
