Love Island star Zara Holland has been warned she could be jailed for nine months if she doesn’t pay her Covid fine within seven days.
The 25-year-old avoided jail time during her trial in District A magistrates’ court, Barbados, on January 6, and was instead given a fine.
Holland faced up to one year’s jail time, as well as a fine of £18,000, but was ultimately awarded a fine of just £4,417.
The reality star was brought before the court after attempting to flee the country when her boyfriend tested positive for coronavirus.
Holland and her boyfriend Elliott Love, 30, underwent coronavirus tests upon arrival in Barbados on December 27 and were instructed to isolate at the island’s Sugar Bay hotel.
However, when Love’s test came back as positive, the pair headed to the airport to escape the island.

Holland and Love were intercepted by police at Grantley Adams International Airport when they attempted to catch a flight back to the UK.
Chief magistrate Ian Weekes told the reality star she ought to have followed coronavirus guidelines and stuck to her quarantine.
“We cannot tolerate that you breached the quarantine protocol,” he said.
“You had been told to stay at your hotel and you should have done that.”

Chief magistrate Mr Weekes is known for having a tough stance on those breaking the Covid rules in place in Barbados.
The former Miss Great Britain winner pleaded guilty to “contravening the emergency Covid-19 curfew directive” in Barbados by leaving “her hotel premises without reasonable explanation” while being “a person in quarantine”.
Holland’s lawyer, Andrew Pilgrim, said his client had suffered a “lapse” in judgement and made a “foolish error” in heading to the airport.

Mr Pilgrim told the court Holland was involved in charity work in the UK, and helped with transportation for people in need.
He added that Holland had the utmost respect for the island of Barbados and had regularly visited as a tourist over the past six years.
Mr Pilgrim added: “We accepted the decision of the court. Miss Holland wants to express her sincere apologies to the entire nation of Barbados. At this point we have no further comment.”
