Meghan Markle is willing to face a “‘greater dignity loss” than her “joker” husband Prince Harry by appearing on The Ellen Show, according to an expert.
Ellen Degeneres made the Duchess of Sussex perform a series of hilarious dares on her daytime talk show, including doing random squats in public.
Meghan also loudly declared she had “healing powers” during the prank, as Ellen fed her outrageous things to say through a hidden earpiece.
Body language expert Judi James told Daily Star Meghan was fearless and not remotely fazed by the tasks the TV host had her doing.
In fact, Ellen’s tongue-in-cheek attempts to humiliate her star didn’t seem to work at all.
Judi says: “This ’embarrassing’ skit does not seem to embarrass Meghan, who seems to draw on her experience as an actor to perform all Ellen’s commands with what looks like enthusiasm.
“Even the squat sit is done lower and in a more exaggerated way that might be expected from a ‘Duchess’ and all the other orders are performed quickly and without any pausing or body language signals of dislike or awkwardness.”
Perhaps surprisingly, the expert compares Meghan’s behaviour to another unconventional member of the Royal Family.
Judi says: “The only other royal you could imagine doing something like this is Sara Ferguson but I would guess that it would otherwise be out of the remit of most other members of the royal Firm.
“Even Harry’s rather choreographed ‘joke’ scenes with James Corden didn’t go this far in terms of a potential loss of dignity, suggesting Meghan wants to show that she’s more than a match for her joker Prince.”
In the show, Meghan was also eager to share one of her most embarrassing childhood memories when she did a hair makeover and was called “Krusty the Clown” at school.
Meghan and Harry’s combined net worth is estimated to have skyrocketed to between £96 – 100 million since they quit as senior royals and moved to Montecito in California.
