Molly-Mae Hague has responded to speculation about her relationship with boxer Tommy Fury in an Instagram Q&A.
Some fans have expressed concern that the couple, who met on 2019’s series of Love Island, have ‘split up.’
While taking part in an Instagram Q&A, Molly-Mae, 22, was asked by one fan: “Why have you and Tommy split up?”
The social media influencer responded by sharing a photo of her kitchen, which appeared to feature Tommy in the background – seen in a green t-shirt and dark shorts.
Alongside the photo, Molly-Mae – who is the creative director of fashion retailer Pretty Little Thing – wrote: “If I had a £1 for every time someone asked me this.”
The reality TV star recently opened up to fans, revealing in a YouTube video that she’s been going through “one of the hardest periods” of her life.
She said that this included a “massive battle with anxiety” and added that “everything’s literally just spiralled down” since moving into their new home in Manchester.
The couple relocated to their new property last month after their previous home was burgled in October.
Molly-Mae also said she was being her 22-year-old boyfriend’s “rock” whilst he also goes through a difficult time.
The professional boxer is understood to have suffered a recent injury which has led to the cancellation of his highly-anticipated fight with Jake Paul.
In the video Molly-Mae said: “I don’t like coming on my YouTube channel and reeling off my problems and making you guys, after this video, be like ‘that was such a miserable video’.
“But at the same time I would never come on here and paint a pretty picture and be like, ‘things are so great and my life is so perfect’, when it is far from right now.
“I know you guys probably want me to come on here and be more specific and talk about the fight and what’s been going on, but it’s not my situation to talk about, it’s Tommy’s thing.
“I’m just here to be his rock and to support him through thick and thin. When you love someone so deeply and they’re hurting so badly and going through something so rubbish you can’t help but feel it yourself.”
